Rapturous Risotto: A Tale of Two Risottos at @BrioItalian Tuscan Grille!

Risotto, risotto, risotto! Even saying it aloud evokes bouts of sheer delight, reminiscing the luscious, al dente, exceptionally mantecato risotto. A good risotto is all about technique and patience – time precision and quality ingredients. So when we heard Brio Tuscan Grille in Central Florida was presenting not one but two delectable risotto dishes through the “Tale of Two Risottos”  promotion, we couldn’t resist paying a visit to Winter Park’s location.

Mangiamo!

Sea Scallops with Risottosmoky vegetable ratatouille adorned with perfectly cooked sweet large scallops, finished with fresh basil and king of Italian cheeses, Parmesan Reggianno, what’s there not to love?

Lobster and Shrimp RisottoBroiled Maine lobster tail served over risotto with shrimp, mushrooms, asparagus, roasted red peppers, basil and Parmesan. Did you see the size of that succulent tail?

Each dish is available at both lunch and dinner, priced at only $19.95 for a limited time of Jan. 19th to March 27th. For the perfect complement to either of the risotto dishes, and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Conundrum white wine, BRIO recommends Conundrum white blend or red blend, priced at $11.95 glass.

Were you aware of the brunch offerings at Brio’s both Saturday and Sunday? Brunch happens to be my favorite meal of the entire week, needless to say we stayed for brunch!

The Tuscan Brunch Bowl won a standing ovation with quinoa, sausage, earthy crimini mushrooms, brightened with tomatoes, kale, and zucchini, topped with cage-free sunny side up eggs, drizzled with siracha mayo made us feel great without the guilt of cheating on my weekly boot camp routine and diet. Bravo chef!!

The Ham and Biscuit Benedict with perfectly poached cage-free eggs, cherry wood smoked ham, home made buttery biscuit, grilled asparagus, crispy potatoes, slathered with rich hollandaise, how could we resist?

How does a dish with such few ingredients taste so delightful, it’s bloody brilliant! Beef Carpaccio with field greens, capers, mustard aioli, Parmesan. Another reason to check out Brio’s Happy Hour – serving Carpaccio under $5.

We thoroughly enjoyed the warm hospitality synonymous to Italians, attentive service, and old-world charm and can’t wait to return for round two of their rapturous risottos. For reservations to the Mall at Millenia location call (407) 351-8909 and for Winter Park Residents – (407) 622-5611.
