Three Courses for $33 – You heard me right – it’s that time of the year where you get to indulge your inner gourmet with an appetizer, entrée and dessert at some of the best restaurants Orlando has to offer and best of all without breaking a bank. I have, and still am, a staunch advocate of #Magicaldining since I first moved to Orlando. Why? Visit Orlando gives me the opportunity to explore new restaurants to add to my ever-growing dining repertoire from the finest chefs Orlando culinary scene has to offer for a steal of a price. So get out your cocktail dresses and pearls ladies, it’s time….time to PARTYY!!
Recently for a sneak preview of #magicaldining I had the privilege of dining at Ruth’s Chris Steak House with few of my favorite Yelp Elites, Mr. Mark Jaronski, VP of Global Publicity, and Mr. David Sibila Editorial Content Manager, Leisure & Trade for Visit Orlando.
Located in the prestigious ‘Restaurant Row”, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse sets an ideal ambiance for a fine dining experience from the moment you step out of your vehicle. Complimentary Valet (mind you, parking is a nightmare in restaurant row), opulent yet warm and elegant atmosphere surrounded with rich wood panels and tuxedo dressed staff. It is romantic and stately, the kind of place I would love to celebrate a memorable occasion or simply walk in cause I was craving the buttery deliciousness of their perfectly sizzling signature steaks.
Amongst scintillating conversation and flowing wine I eagerly and swiftly placed my three course order. (Since it’s a course meal, restaurants prefer that you place your entire order up front so it gives the kitchen time to serve your courses in a timely fashion). For my appetizer course I chose the soup of the day which happened to be Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Delicately spiced with generous portions of sausage and chicken, I licked the whole bowl clean.
Did I mention I LOVE steak? A beautiful 6 oz filet, tender, corn-fed Midwestern beef cooked to my liking. Served with family style roasted garlic mashed potatoes or creamed spinach, are you drooling yet? Butter, yes butter is the ‘secret’ ingredient here and I couldn’t get enough of it.
By now I was completely stuffed, one bite of the caramelized Crème Brûlée accompanied by a crinkle cookie and rhubarb compote was all it took to convince me that I abhor food wastage…right (wink, wink)? And I must finish my decadent dessert. Oh my! I had to refrain myself from squealing with delight.
So whether you are scouting around for your next business dinner, or you have an occasion to celebrate, or simply because you are in a mood to try something new. Visit Orlando gives you an irrefutable choice of extending your gourmand wings with a Three Course Dinner for only $33. So come on people, do yourself a favor and check out the listing below and make your Reservation!!
In case you are wondering which restaurants I fancy? Here are few of them which I have had the delight of experiencing via #magicaldining and have since become a loyal patron: The Venetian Room, Deep Blu Seafood Grill, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and Le Coq au Vin. Of course there are my personal favorites which I frequent that are also participating this September: Siro Urban Kitchen, K Restaurant, Luma on the Park, Capital Grille, and Emeril’s Tchoup Chop.
Visit Orlando is also giving visitors the option of staying the night in case you are visiting Orlando or just need to extend your magical dining into a magical night. Check out their Stay and Dine packages, where you can enjoy hotel accommodations and a Magical Dining dinner for two — all for one great price.
One dollar from each meal will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. For more information visit rmhccf.org/.
